September 19  1st Annual Clare Harvest Banquet, Falls Hotel, Ennistymon. The Average Irish Dinner travels 26,000kms. to get to your plate. At this 4 course buffet everything you eat will be from County Clare. From honey to homemade ice cream, butter, cream, fish, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, herbs, wine, tea and desserts. Traditional music and dancing. All proceeds benefit Asral Charity.  Call The Falls Hotel 065 7071004 for tickets.  I am on the culinary team and responsible for the Vegetarian Entree.

September 28 – Apple Harvest Festival at Irish Seed Savers, Scariff, Co. Clare www.irishseedsavers.ie 3:00pm  Conducting a cookery demonstration on “cooking with apples”.

September 29 – Ennis Transition Town ForumFeeding Ennis. 8 pm Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis. The focus of the evening is to demonstrate the link between the rising cost of oil and the food supply. I will be one of the Producers talking about and demonstrating local, seasonal foods which encourages self sufficiency. For more information of transition towns go to www.transitiontowns.org.

October 4 – Dingle Food Festival www.dinglefood.ie 5:00 pm free cookery demo in St. James Church, Main St.   Book Signing at Dingle Bookshop on Green St. at 3:00 pm.

March 21,  2 Cookery Demonstration in Clifden, Co. Galway.The annual Heath Fair sponsored by the Clifden Chamber of Commerce and An bhean feasa at Alcock & Brown Hotel. 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.
