There’s a variety of foods for sale at the Farmers Markets in Co. Clare. Saturdays in Ballyvaughan you can get these surf clams and native Irish Oysters from the waters right off Clare from Goleen Shellfish. At the Kinvara Farmers Market I bought some of these scented sweetpea plants to put in the garden. Hopefully, the slugs won’t get them! And, as an ex-New Yorker I am hugely impressed with Teresa Fahy’s bagels, they are the real thing and she sells them along with her herbs and garden veg at Ballyvaughan. Her rhubarb was the inspiration for the strawberry rhubab tart in Coming Home To Cook
